VotoGoal

The football opinion app

Vote the exact score

VotoGoal is not a game. It shows you the popular opinion of every player on a match. You vote the exact score, then see what score everyone else expects, and after the match you see if you got the score right.

Real upcoming fixtures you can vote on in the app, with the number of votes already submitted. Results and the crowd split are shown only in the app.

May we count visits to this section? We store only that this section was shown, or that a match was followed toward the app, plus the language of the page.

Matchday

Three steps, then the whistle

Vote the exact score to see what score everyone else expects. Choose the leagues you follow, lock your score, and after the match see if you got it right.

  1. Choose your leagues

Follow the competitions you care about. Matches on your list come from the leagues saved on this device account.

  2. Vote the exact score

Set the exact score you expect before kickoff. Once you submit, the pick is final, and voting closes when the match starts.

  3. See the score everyone expects

After you vote, you see what score everyone else expects for that match. When the match ends, you see if you got the score right. Match status alone does not show how others voted.

Plain rules

A fair matchday, spelled out

The short version of how VotoGoal behaves.

  • Free to take part

Voting and the leagues you follow do not require a payment.

  • No betting and no prizes

VotoGoal does not take stakes and does not pay winnings.

  • Private device account

The app signs you in on the device. It does not ask for an email, a password, or your real name.

  • Not a game, an opinion

There is nothing to win. VotoGoal exists to show the popular opinion of the exact score, and that opinion is shown only after you vote on that match.

  • Ads follow your choice

The Android app does not request ads until you make a consent choice, or until no choice is required.

The Android app

The screens, in order

These are real screens from the VotoGoal app for Android, shown with sample matches, votes, and scores rather than real results. You vote the exact score, see upcoming matches with the crowd still hidden, unlock the scores people expect after your vote, check later whether your score was right, and set your name, language, and leagues.

  1. Vote step with goal controls for each team, a scoreline set, and the home outcome that follows from it.

    Set the exact score

Set the goals for each team and the outcome follows from the score. You review the scoreline on the next step, before kickoff.

  2. Matches listed by day, with a vote button and the home, draw, and away percentages masked.

    Upcoming matches from your leagues

Scheduled matches from the leagues you follow are listed by day. Each one has a vote button, and the crowd stays masked until you vote.

  3. Match card after a vote, with the pick marked, the crowd split visible, and a list of the scores people expect.

    See the score people expect

After your vote, your pick is marked and the match opens up: the home, draw, and away split, plus the scores people expect most.

  4. History card for a finished match, with the pick beside the final score and marked as the exact score.

See if you got the score right

When the match ends, History puts your pick next to the final score and says whether you got the exact score.

  5. Settings screen with an editable display name, a selected app language, and followed leagues.

    Your name, language, and leagues

Settings holds a display name you can edit, the app language, and the leagues you follow. It does not ask for an email address.

The popular opinion lives in the app

The exact score you vote, the score everyone else expects, whether you got the score right, and your own history are shown only in the VotoGoal app. Install it and vote the exact score before kickoff.
